  1. I saw one of Tom Gauld’s writing strips and went onto Amazon to buy a postcard book of them. I can’t bring myself to send many of them because they’re too deliciously close to the truth and I can’t bear to part with them. This is the first time I’ve come across Snider – I wonder if he has a book I can buy, too!
These are a genuine delight, Marcia. Thanks! 😀 😀 😀

    • I may have to do the same thing, Trish. I can shelve them right next to my favorite cartoonist of all time, Gary Larson. Very different styles, but equally funny, or even–dare I say it?–even more so. So glad you enjoy them, and I suspect Snider has books out, too. Going to check myself, now that you’ve mentioned it. 😀 Thanks for stopping by and sharing today. 🙂

    • Really glad you enjoyed them, Priscilla. I think my favorite is Stray Books. That’s kinda how it’s been for me all my life. (Can I keep it, Mommy? It followed me home.) 😀 Thanks for stopping by today! 🙂

    • Thanks, Olga, and I agree, I love them all, but Stray Books is definitely the story of my life. 😀 Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Thor’s Day to you, too! 😀

    • So glad you enjoyed them, Teri. These two guys are wonderfully talented, and I’m totally addicted to them. They are right there next to my favorite cartoonist of all time, Gary Larson. Thanks for stopping by and taking a minute to let me know you could relate. Me, too! 😀

    • Thank you, Mae! Hope you do, as well, and I’m so happy you enjoyed these. They are some of my favorites, for sure. (I’m making up for being absent a couple of days, with unexpected problems.) 😀 Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a moment to comment! Now I’M smiling! 😀

        • I’ll probably do an update post in a little while, but suffice it to say a broken water pipe inside your shower wall is NOT a fun way to spend two days! Luckily, Mark can fix anything, so no need to call a plumber, but what started as a small problem escalated rapidly. On the plus side, one of the days centered around getting our first COVID shots, and we are scheduled for the 2nd one in 3 weeks. Neither of us had any kind of bad reaction to the shots, which was one thing I was worried about. So, YAY for being one step closer to feeling safer. 😀

          • Correction. It might be some time before I post again. Overnight, they removed my option to use the Classic Editor, after having led me to believe I still had several months to tackle learning the new one. Now I don’t even know HOW to post, so I’ll likely be absent for a bit as I learn. JUST what I needed after this past week. I’m going to go cry in my Earl Grey! 😦 😥
