Cultivate Your Audience with this Tip

And I hope you’ll also consider passing the post along so others can enjoy it, too. Thanks, and thanks to PH for his super tips. ๐Ÿ™‚

Story Empire

Good morning Story Empire readers, PH here with you today with more tips and information to help you along with your writing career. Since I began self-publishing several years ago, itโ€™s been a long journey of learning, often through trial and error. Because I got off to a slow start marketing my book, there was a steep learning curve. Because of time spent learning, I also became someone more willing to try different things, maybe even make a few more mistakes.

With that understanding in mind, letโ€™s explore a few more things that Iโ€™m working through for my marketing. One of my goals is to have more engagement with my reading audience. This is a little tougher than it seems and the fantasy audience for which I write can often be somewhat silent because there are a lot more men reading science fiction and fantasy. • Glad you enjoyed it, Diana. It did the same for me. If nothing else, it has inspired me to get my Newsletter up and going again. (So many things have fallen through the crack in the last year or two, and especially in the last six months or so.)

Lots of good info on Story Empire. I’m very pleased to be a part of that family now, and it’s fun to share everyone’s posts. Thanks for stopping by! ๐Ÿ™‚

        • My newsletter is on life support, too, Diana, but it was something I enjoyed doing, and I have a lot of local readers who followed it closely, since I included dates and times of my various talks, etc. I think it would be worth mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to get it going again, and perhaps seek some new followers. And it wouldn’t be too hard to find time for that as a first step.

I’ll be very interested in how it goes for you with Goodreads. Maybe you could do a guest post in a few weeks, and let us know what you’ve tried and how you feel about it? I’m thinking about starting up a series of monthly or bi-monthly guest posts before too long, anyway, and would love to have you over. Just something to think about. ๐Ÿ™‚ โค

          • Could happen, Marcia, and thanks so much for the sweet offer. I’m busily trying to get my trilogy out – aiming for Labor Day for the first book, all three by Christmas. Everything else is taking a back seat right now. But once their out to beta readers… and the launch stuff is ready… and… and… Lol. I’m hyperventilating!

            • I’m way behind, too, and I don’t even have as much on my plate as you. Assuming I really get the guest post feature going again, the offer will still be good any time! No problems at all. Now, take a deep breath and then … run around in circles like a maniac for a while. That’s what I always do, and nope, it doesn’t work for me, either. ๐Ÿ˜€
