Getting a bit late in this busy, busy day, but here are a few smiles for you.
Might be you need them more now than you did this morning!
😀
Thank you, Jim Butcher!
(Harry Who???)
And there you go!
Hope you found at least a chuckle or two in the group.
I’m partial to, leaning toward, in favor of the last one, myself.
😀
Lots of chuckles… Book Club Bouncer was my favorite! 🙂 Have a great week, Marcia!

Thanks, Bette! And the same to you. I’m glad you got lots of chuckles. I can identify with several of these. 😉

As always, I love your Monday posts, Marcia. Thank you!
Book club bouncer, and “wait,” “what?” were my favorites!

I try to find something for everybody, Mae! 😀 So glad you like them. I like Book Club Bouncer, too, but until I started talking Pendergast with you, I really identified with the girl with her head on the table. 😀

I love Book Club Bouncer. And as for number 3? I have slapped characters with their own book and am getting ready to do it again. (Some of them are just insistent on having me do that!)

Oh, I’ve slapped a few around in my day, too. Especially female characters with SHS. (Stupid Heroine Syndrome). But they ALL deserved it, I swear! 😀

In my case, it’s a couple of male characters that took a different direction than I intended. One of them is mentioned in the review that will post on your site tomorrow.

Oh, I’d NEVER slap any of my OWN characters! It’s characters in other people’s books that drive me crazy, especially when what they’re doing is as stupid as a girl in a slasher movie who decides to walk down the basement stairs–usually in her nightgown–to investigate a suspicious noise. Those characters suffer from such extreme cases of SHS they should be locked away somewhere for their own (and our) protection. Just sayin’ ….. 😀 😀 😀

😀 I’ll have to say my male characters deserved their place in the limelight. But I know what you mean about those “crazy” females. LOL

LOL! Love these! And I agree with you: “Thank you, Jim Butcher!” (she says, dripping sarcasm). I’ll have to take my time as I make my through Brief Cases, I guess.

Yes, damn that man! Doesn’t he know I’m OOOLD? I don’t have DECADES for him to finish this series, and after stringing me along for 15 books, I reallyreallyreally need answers. Especially since it took all 15 of them before he finally decided to let Harry kiss Karrin Murphy! What’s up with that??? And if he doesn’t get cracking pretty soon, I’m going to have to rename my cats. Harry & Murphy will become Pendergast and Gideon, I guess. Haruuumph.

LOL! I know! I’m not getting any younger, either!

Glad they made you giggle, Harmony! Nothing eases you through a Monday better than a laugh or two! 🙂

Too hard to pick a favourite! Some were laugh out loud funny and ‘no one understands my pain’ struck a chord that combined humour with a dab of melancholy…
Thanks, Marcia. ❤

You’re welcome, Trish. Glad you got a few LOLs out of them, and I really identify with the “no one feels my pain” one, too. 😀

My favourite is the conversation between the comma and the question mark. Thanks, Marcia. 🙂

I love that, too. Heck, I enjoyed all of them when I saw them, or I wouldn’t have saved them to share with you guys. 😀 But I have several with punctuation marks that I love. I should run them all at the same time someday. 😀

It would be fun to read them all together, Marcia. As long as you punctuate them. 😂

Heck, the reason I saved them was because they were SELF-punctuated! 😀 😀 😀

Great memes! And yes–damn him, Jim Butcher! I want new Harry Dresden before I resort to rereading. Then again, I have a towering TBR list I need to work on. 😀

Me, too, but I’d drop everything for a new Harry Dresden book! As it is, I’ll probably have to re-read the last one. I saw he’d had a lot of interruptions in his life that slowed him down, and I’m trying to be patient because I’ve been through a disruptive year and a half myself, but still! I want my DRESDEN FIX!! I do think it’s coming up by spring, maybe. I hope. I should go check the latest news, but I’m afraid it might make me cry! 😦
