Love them allโand I LOVE Snoopy and his literary ambitions. One of my favorite strips had Snoopy writing to an editor who apparently rejected his work. Snoopy wrote something like this: “Dear Editor, I think there’s been a misunderstanding. You were supposed to offer me a big advance and a contract . . .” Wouldn’t we all like to send a letter like that?

I think I have that one somewhere, Liz. Snoopy’s literary ambitions are always good for a giggle, if you ask me. But truthfully, we can often see a bit of ourselves in them, too, I think. ๐ Glad you enjoyed these. ๐

I know! Why do we persist in thinking that if something isn’t working, MORE of the same will fix it? Hahaha. Glad you got a laugh from that one, Jessica! ๐

Errrmmmm. I think that’s on my family crest somewhere. Let me go check. But first, maybe a bite of key lime pie to fuel the expedition. Urk. ๐

It’s interesting how often the funny memes receive that comment, Harmony: “I needed this today.” Personally, I don’t know how anyone survives in this world without finding laughter somewhere along the way. Happy to share what I discover here and there, and glad you enjoyed it!! Thanks so much for sharing! ๐ โค

I hear ya, Trish! We should all develop that kind of attitude–joyful, and proud of our day’s work, even if it’s only a few words. ๐ Glad it gave you a smile. ๐ โค

Me, too, Darlene. Snoopy has to be one of the greatest little characters ever created! And Writer Snoopy has always been my favorite–even more so than when he’s Flying Ace Snoopy, chasing after the Red Baron, though that one’s always been pretty good, too. And NOTHING is more fun than a Snoopy Happy Dance. ๐

I adore Snoopy. Always have, Always will. I never saw that GIF of Charlie Brown and his cute beagle meeting for the first time. How adorable! And, of course, I always like Snoopy’s writing wisdom.
Thanks for sharing, Marcia!

Ha! These are great, Marcia. My mom could be Lucy in the last one. She wants me to write nice stories without any violence. *Sigh* ๐

I foresee a dark and stormy night with a kiss ringing out in your future! ๐
Nice stories without any violence can be great, too, but only if that’s what you want to write. And if you are into fantasy, sometimes it’s hard to avoid epic battles, and political intrigue, and treacherous, back-stabbing villains. That’s kind of what it’s all about. (Well, not ALL fantasy, of course, but huge chunks of it, hopefully portraying good overcoming evil, facing down impossible odds, and slaying a dragon or two along the way.)
Glad you enjoyed these! You can always count on Snoopy to give you a smile, and usually to teach you something along the way. ๐

๐ After many years of reading all sorts of genres, including buckets of Urban Fantasy, I have finally started to read epic fantasy. It’s my main go-to genre right now. I have a lot of catching up to do, and I’ve discovered I really LOVE it. So I say, “Write on, Diana! Write on!!” (BTW, I just finished downloading every single one of your books! My D. Wallace Peach Kindle folder runneth over! Now let’s hope I can find a few more reading hours in the day! ๐

I’m looking forward to delving into Catlin’s Bane, etc, VERY soon. And I promised Raze I’d review his stories VERY soon. Honest. ๐ Will let you know as soon as I get those done.
