These are great, Marcia! Thanks for the smiles. I’m more than halfway through Wake-Robin Ridge and sitting at the edge of my seat while reading. Really good stuff!

So glad you enjoyed the laughs, Pam, and thanks for the kind words on WRR. It was my first endeavor, and I threw everything I had at it, never expecting to write more. But now, my goal is to keep going, and to improve at the craft with each book. π Hope you like how it wrapped up, but THEN, there’s a little boy named Rabbit waiting in them thar hills, and I hope you let him into your heart. (He has a habit of endearing himself to readers, and I can’t take credit for that. He arrived in my head fully formed and sharing his opinions with me. π )

I didn’t giggle at the spider. (Shudders) The rest I did, though.

The lego struck a (painful) chord, but the spider? Oh my!
Thanks for the chuckle, Marcia. Everything feels better when you have a grin on your face. (Except Spiders. Spiders never make me feel good no matter what the circumstances…)

Yeah, I’d pretty much just jump out the window at that point. I love reptiles, snakes, various critters of all sorts, but NOT spiders. (I’m pretty sure I was a fly in a former life.) I did learn to quit killing them, mostly, since they have a job to do. But if they come in my house, they’ve crossed over to the Dark Side, and if Mark isn’t around to catch them and throw them out, I might go looking for the 55-gallon drum of RAID! π― )

Haha! And now Jefferson Airplane is flying around in my brain. That’s fine — I love it! Hugs.

* . . . and if you go chasin’ rabbits,
and you know you’re goin’ to fall,
tell ’em a hookah smokin’ caterpillar
has given you the call . . .*
(Why, yes. Yes I WAS around during the 60’s!)

So glad you got a laugh out loud moment from that spider. I did, too, but I totally agreed with the line at the bottom. π Thanks for stopping by today! β€
