    • Me, too, Liz. Not only do those little guys look silly due to their size, but just look how they are all sitting or gazing around this way and that. I defy anyone to get a group of dachshunds to act as a team of any sort. They are so independent! 😀

  1. Loved this, Marcia. On my regular walk to see the ospreys (did I tell you we have three chicks this year?) I sometimes meet a woman who has two long-haired dachshunds – mother and daughter. They are such characters, I love to meet them.

    • Congratulations on the three osprey chicks! That’s super! 🙂 I’ve heard that though they all three share the basic dachshund traits, there are supposedly differences in the personalities of the three coat types. The longhairs are supposed to be less “argumentative” and a bit sweeter than the grumpier wirehairs and the bossier smooth hairs. I’ve only ever had the smooths, so I don’t know this for sure, but I can tell you my dogs have ALL been bossy as the dickens. Adorable, but oh, so determined to get their way in everything. 😀 I always figured that with three coat types and two sizes, there’s something for everybody. 😀

    • Glad you enjoyed them, Mae. That one and the sprinkles one are my favorites. Of course, my brown and tan dachsie, Maks, is quite often trying to dig holes to China, so that one speaks to me, too. 😀 😀 😀

    • Glad you enjoyed these, Paige. Sprinkles dog is pretty cute, and so typical of dachshunds, too. Even when caught in the act, they refuse to admit wrongdoing. 😀 Thanks for stopping by today! 🙂
