I love the Bradbury quote π

It’s lovely, isn’t it? He was really a remarkable man and such a great writer. I started reading his work when I was 12 or 13 years old, and read pretty much all of it over the years. I saw an interview of him on You Tube a few weeks ago, and he was such a delight to listen to, as well. Glad you enjoyed this one. π

Love both of them, for completely different reasons. π

Me, too, Kass. Though the Bradbury one has been in my “collection” for a long time. It’s so wonderful! Still, you gotta wonder about those extinct dinosaurs, doncha? π

The Bradbury quote is amusingly brilliant. As to the dinosaurs… That’s one helluvan erroneous extrapolation! Just my cup o’ tea π β€οΈ

Oooh, “erroneous extrapolation?” Just my cup of alliteration! π π π Glad you enjoyed them, Tina! π β€

Yay! I recently learned the difference between alliteration and assonance. Well, actually, I relearned it. And when you throw consonance into the mix, jeeeeeeeez! π

You are far more educated than I, Tina. I don’t think I’ve even heard of the other two. (I last studied English nearly 60 years ago. Much has leaked out of my tiny brain!) Now I have to go check ’em out, so I’ll be ready for the next opportunity to toss them out in general conversation. (With the cats, I guess, as I don’t have too many other opportunities during a normal day!) π

Good. Nothing I like better than providing a bit of comic relief!!
I think I started out with a fairly decent intellect, but lately the gray cells have been leaping out of my ears faster than lemmings going over a cliff! Eeep. π―
However, I have a feeling there’s nothing wrong with your intellect at all! π (And if I’m wrong, don’t tell me. I’ll never know the difference. π )

Does that mean you’re laughing???? Good! Then my work here is done! π *doffs hat and takes a bow, then trundles off to the Comfy Chair, perchance to read* (Now you are in a Monty Python skit! π )
