Why the Schrödinger effect? Because words on a page, be that in a book or on a screen, reflect the living imagination of the writer, but are dead until a reader’s imagination gives them life.
For the writer, no matter what the platform, there are few things as satisfying…or as scary… as pressing ‘publish’. Writing can be both a joy and a source of panic and frustration, especially when it seems that writers these days not only need to be able to tell a story, they also need to be tech-savvy, social media and marketing buffs who never run out of coffee or inspiration.

I really enjoyed the post, too, Staci. Sue has an eclectic blog with all sorts of interesting things going on, from exploring the gorgeous countryside and ancient churches, to photography, poetry (her own and others), photo prompts for writers, and more. I liked this post both for the message, and for the list of writing related links. Glad you did, as well. 🙂

I don’t get to spend as much time enjoying other blogs as I’d like, right now, but when I do take a few minutes and find something this good, I want to share it. So, my pleasure, Sue. And a very happy 2018 to you, too! 🙂

My contractor says they should be wrapping up things in 2 more weeks, if the weather and inspectors don’t cause any more delays. Yay!! A mere four (LONG) months later, but I’ve heard it’s often much, much longer, so I’m just going to go with hooray! 😀 And I expect 2018 to be a good year, with more laughter, and less shaking my fist at the sky. 😉 I’m looking forward to it, and all the possibilities ahead of me. Happy New Year to you, Sue! One of my goals is to be able to return to following my favorite blogs more closely, including yours. ❤
