For all my friends who celebrate this holiday, I wish you a bountiful table, surrounded by family and friends, gathered in a joyous celebration of all that is good in the world.
I hope, no matter what troubles have come your way during the past year, you are able to count your blessings, and mean it with all your heart!
Happy Thanksgiving, Marcia!

That’s lovely! I hope you have a GREAT Thanksgiving! Wish I were with my kids today, but we’re going to my friend (and cover designer) Nicki’s house, and she’s family, too, so it will be great! 🙂 Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂

I hope you have a LOVELY time, Marje! I don’t get to see nearly as much of my kids as I’d like, so that sounds like a great way to spend a Sunday, to me. 🙂 ❤

Yes I’m looking forward to it as I don’t see much of her as she is always out with the boyfriend, friends etc!

It was nice. Good food and fun with the family. Just got back from Black Friday shopping at Walmart, where I got some good deals.

You are a brave soul, and have my utmost respect. I hate shopping on the best of days, and would rather lie down in the backyard and eat dirt than go out on Black Friday. Eeeeeeeeek. 😯 But good for you for being braver than I, and I’m glad you netted some good deals! Happy Thanksgiving & Happy Black Friday On Thursday shopping! 😀 😀 😀

From your lips to God’s ears! I hope I never have to go through another hurricane again! Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes, too. We had a lovely time with our friends! Just got home, full & Happy! 😀 ❤

Lovely! I’m happy too, after a launch of the paperback version of Donkey Boy this evening. It was a great night with friends, fans, fizz and lots of sales. And no photographs. I think one was taken but I’ve not seen it yet! Sometimes, I realise how useless I am at promotional stuff – sometimes, I don’t really care!

My sentiments, exactly, Mary. Well, truly, I do care, but I just don’t have time to do it all, and I’d rather write, and meet with local readers than do half the other stuff I should be doing. Your launch party sounds great. And please feel free to post here about your paperback being out, if you wish. Glad to share the news. 🙂 ❤

Thanks so much, Norah! We had a lovely time with our friends, but I’m SOOO tired now. And full. But it was worth it! A great afternoon, and the first “fun” thing we’ve done with friends since the hurricane. Yay! But I’m off to bed soon. Because I’m tired. And full. (Did I mention those already?) 😀

Thanks. It will be weeks yet before the rebuilding is over. They finished repairing the block walls, and should be starting on putting up the new trusses on Monday, but there’s a LOT more to come, including an entire new roof. I’m hoping they’ll be done by Christmas, but I won’t be surprised to see this lap over into the new year. BUT. At least it IS moving forward, finally, so things are looking up! 😀

It’s been a long slow process for so many hit by the hurricanes. I do hope your repairs are finished in time for Christmas. Best wishes. N

It sure has, and we were so much luckier than many! I’m very grateful for that, but it would make a nice Christmas present to have our house back to ourselves, all spruced up, and with the new roof in place. 🙂 Thanks for your well wishes, Norah. ❤ We'll get to that point eventually, I'm sure.

It’s never too late to be thankful, Mae, or to wish others the same thing. That’s how I see it, anyway. Hope you had a lovely day. We certainly did, and we have all the wonderful leftovers to show for it.
Actually, unlike some folks, leftovers are my favorite thing about holiday feasts! Everything tastes better the 2nd day, anyway, after flavors have time to meld. I get to enjoy mashed potato pancakes made by stirring an egg and some flour into the leftover potatoes, and I can heat the turkey in pan gravy for a different taste, etc. Ooooh. I love leftovers! All the goodness, without all the hard work. What could be better, I ask you?
Happy Leftovers Day! 😀 ❤
