#ReviewMeme

The good news: We finished laying the new living room floor, which we were ready to start doing when Irma hit. We still have to finish the dining room, repaint, and install new baseboards. But the new flooring looks MAH-velous!

The bad news, no time to do my update post on all that’s happened over the last two weeks. No, demo hasn’t started yet, but permit applications have been filed, and some other things have happened. I’ll try to catch up on that tomorrow.

The other good news is that I found an hour to make some new memes for my books, for Twitter, etc. While I was at it, I made a new “Review Meme.” Feel to use this any way you like, with my sincere hope that it reminds/inspires some of your readers to leave a review for you. Enjoy!

  1. Good to have an update and glad you are making progress on the house. Your meme reminded me I still have to review the Riverbend books. I’m not sure if I did one for the first book but I read the second and third on holiday so I know I definitely haven’t done reviews for them. Loved them! Looking forward to the novella.

    • Oh, that’s so nice of you, Mary. I’m so glad you enjoyed my Riverbend gang. Got a few completely new characters coming up in the next one, now that I’ve wrapped up those rascally Painter brothers. I look forward to reading your thoughts.

And The Emissary is very short. Just over 100 pages, and can easily be read in a sitting, if that helps any. 🙂

I will try to post a more complete update tomorrow, with pictures, so you can see what it was like. Enjoy the meme! 🙂 ❤

      • It’s not the reading time that’s the problem, Marcia, it’s writing the reviews. I feel I’m useless at it and can’t think how to word them, especially when I just want to say, ‘You should read this, you’ll love it.’

        • Just so you know, I’m FINE with “You should read this, you’ll love it.” 😀 Seriously, it can be short and sweet, and will work just as well. For myself, I do fairly short reviews, because I don’t like to give away much about the plot. And even a star rating alone helps, though a few words is good. “Great mystery/romance/spooky tale.” Or maybe a simple “This is the best book ever written?” 😀 😀 😀 😀

  2. Love the meme Marsh. I may have to steal it. ❤ Glad your floor is getting done and progress is set in motion. I know you'll update us when you catch a moment. Happy Halloween my friend. 🙂 xx
