Review Memes For Ya!

Reviews? Need some? (Who doesnt’?) Here are four memes I created over the last year or so. Feel free to save and use as you will. I’m planning to do a few more with a bit more info on them, and will share when I get them done. In the meantime, hope you can use these here and there. (No need for attribution. I share these freely with anyone who wants to help get the word out.)

    • So glad you like them. I really should have made a lot more by now, but life (writing) keeps me too busy to play with graphics very much these days. I use PaintShopPro, but there are lots of choices for creating this type of thing, including several free ones. I’ll try to put together some links for you. 🙂

        • Even a short message on a colorful background will work. Just something to jog people into remembering they MEANT to leave a review. 😀 I’ve made a note to check on those links. I know one free site is FotoJet. You can upload images and do some simple stuff with them, plus I think they have templates, too. https://www.fotojet.com/apps/flash/?entry=edit Also, youi can create basic graphics in Paint, which comes with either Windows or Office, I think. (Sorry, haven’t used it in awhile. But I’m sure there is a basic graphics program that comes with most computers.) Hope this helps.

            • I dearly love PaintShopPro. It does 90% of the things you can do in Photoshop at a fraction of the cost. I used it for years for digital art, before I finally got around to my real love of writing. But if experiment with some of the free and/or “smaller” programs, you can probably come up with some cool stuff. Sometimes simple is just fine. 😀

    • Glad you like them, Yvonne. Feel free to use them as a reminder to your followers, etc. We need to encourage folks to leave those reviews. For some of us indies, they can make or break the success of our books. 🙂

    • Very glad they will be useful for you, Lyn. Share them and help us spread the word about the importance of leaving reviews. And Chris IS the BEST about sharing, for sure! 🙂

  1. Thanks for sharing this.
It’s so sat that readers often don’t realise how important this is for us as authors, but also for us as readers, since a book that is invisible will never live its life, no matter how good it is.

    • Exactly so, but I confess, I never realized the importance of reviews until I started writing. I’d never given a single moment’s thought to my opinion possibly helping an author sell more books. Of course, I did share my thoughts with friends and fellow readers I knew personally, and that, too, is important. But in today’s world, it’s those Amazon reviews that make or break a book, especially for us independent authors. I’m glad you like the memes, and I promise to make a few more soon. 🙂

    • Glad you like them, Norah. I had hoped to make a couple more this weekend, but the dreaded “Other Stuff” got in the way. 😯 I’ll share some more as soon as I find a few minutes to play with graphics. Thanks for taking the time to let me know you enjoyed these. 🙂 ❤
