“Yeah, YOU!”

You’ll no doubt notice that I plugged my latest book, Harbinger, a couple of days ago, and again this morning. (Hope you’ll share the post on Twitter, Facebook, and in all your usual haunts!) Meanwhile, I just want to remind you that promoting our work is one of the main functions of this blog. In addition to our general networking, sharing resources, ideas, excerpts, tips, and anything else useful we run across, you guys can always promote your books here, especially if they are on sale, or you have a new release coming out. That’s a huge part of how we support each other, and make sure the world at large learns about our books.

Please make it a point to share posts here at any time, but especially when the post involves promos and other news you’d like to get “out there.” And PLEASE avail yourselves of this platform to help you reach new readers.

If you are already a contributor (author) on this blog, you can post these announcements directly any time you wish. If you aren’t set up to do that, please email me with your request, and I will either post it for you, or show you how to do it, yourself. You can reach me at mmeara@cfl.rr.com

This blog is specifically intended as a place for us to have fun, ask questions, learn and grow as writers, AND to share our news, with the understanding that others here will pass it along as far and wide as possible.

    • You’re welcome, Sally. It’s the whole purpose of this blog, really. Sharing news, promos, tips, resources, and encouragement. All writers are welcome to take part, and asked to share far and wide, with the understanding that we will do the same for them. Sometimes members get shy, or forget, so I have to remind them. Promos and other news are especially welcome! Thanks for taking the time to comment, and for the offer of reciprocation. I’ll keep an eye out for your email. Have a great Sunday!

    • Hey, I needed Kleenex while I was WRITING it! Why should YOU be any different? 😀 Seriously, Ruth does that to a lot of folks, I’m afraid. Okay, I’m not afraid. I meant for her to break your heart. My editor says I’m evil, you know. 🙂 And I’m glad you survived the two scary bits. See? Not nearly so bad as you imagined, I’ll bet.

      Enjoy the visit to Frank, and thanks so much for loving my first endeavor. It will always hold a special place in my heart. And of course, the story does go on. And on. And on. Hahahahaha. Hope you’re hooked, now! 😀

    • Well, better late than never, Mae Clair! (I made that up, hahaha.) Welcome aboard, and of course, we hope you’ll join in as often as you can. Lots of great folks here. This is my “main” blog, and poor Bookin’ It sort of fell by the wayside while I was building this one. Now, I’m trying to post at least weekly reviews on Bookin’ It to get it going again, but I’m on The Write Stuff pretty much every day. And a lot of others post here, too. So, stop by often, and see what’s going on, and let me know if you want to share anything. 🙂 Glad to see you!

I must say, The Write Stuff has exceeded my wildest imaginings when I started it. I’m so happy at all the sharing and support that goes on here, and I love checking to see who’s around each day.
